Play only the root on the first beat of each change: B (bar 1, Bm7), E (bar 2, E7), A (bar 3, Amaj7), D (bar 4, Dmaj7), G# (bar 5, G#m7b5), C# (bar 6, C#7b9), F# (bars 7–8, F#m7). Keep counting through every bar that holds the same chord; the form resolves back to F#.
