Play only the root on the first beat of each change: E (bars 1–2, Em9), A (bar 3, A13), B (bar 4, Bm7), D (bar 5, Dmaj7), A (bar 6, A13), E (bar 7, Em9), B (bar 8, B7#9). Keep counting through every bar that holds the same chord; the form resolves back to E.
