Play only the root on the first beat of each change: G (bars 1–2, Gm9), C (bar 3, C13), D (bar 4, Dm7), F (bar 5, Fmaj7), C (bar 6, C13), G (bar 7, Gm9), D (bar 8, D7#9). Keep counting through every bar that holds the same chord; the form resolves back to G.
